Prepare Protect Prevent (PPP) Working Group
Terms of Reference
1. The purpose of the PPP Working Group is to ensure Imperial is compliant with the Prepare, Protect and Prevent pillars as outlined in the national counter-terrorism strategy, CONTEST.

- To ensure appropriate measures are in place to mitigate the impact of a terrorist attack should one occur, ensuring Imperial is able to respond to and manage the consequences of an attack;
- To ensure security measures are in place to deter and prevent attacks;
- To respond to the ideological challenge of terrorism and the threat we face from those who promote it;
- To prevent people from being drawn into terrorism and ensure they are given appropriate advice and support;
- To collaborate with partners (including agencies) to better understand the risks we face and how we can minimise this risk through our day-to-day operations.
2. We will achieve this by:

- Regular monitoring of our PPP duties action plan;
- Review of any legislative or other regulatory changes;
- Development of specific action plans;
- Provision of an annual assurance report for Council on the management of the Prepare, Protect and Prevent duties and the Prevent Annual Accountability and Data Return;
- Collaborate with partners and agencies to better understand the risks we face and how we can minimise these risks through our day-to-day operations.
3. The Working Group will meet three times per year (once each term).
4. The Working Group will be quorum when 50% of the membership are in attendance.
