The Sustainable Gas Institute’s research examines the policy implications of natural gas supply and use from an economic, social and environmental perspective. Our research covers global, regional, national and local topics that are of policy significance in the wider energy context.

One of our main policy outputs between 2015 - 2021 was our White Paper collection. The series provided globally impactful policy facing analysis, and brought clarity to contentious topics in the energy sector. The SGI delivers this through the use of systematic review of the contemporary evidence base and primary analysis to fill gaps in current knowledge.
