According to Greek mythology, Tiresias was a blind prophet of Apollo who, although sightless, could divine the future and possessed wisdom to guide those who would listen. Like its namesake, the TIRESIAS networked radar system provides deep insights into patient behaviour and disease progression.

For this project we will be using the TIRESIAS system to provide a range of metrics such as:
- Sleep monitoring (in collaboration with Surrey sleep lab)
- Walking speed and gait analysis (in collaboration with Saint George's University Hospital)
- Location and behaviour.
This information will help caring for dementia patients by allowing carers and practitioners to monitor changes in behaviour over time and deepen our understanding on how this desease progresses.
