The Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub
The MSk MEC will form the centrepiece of the Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub (“BmE Hub”) which is being constructed at Imperial’s new translational research campus under construction in White City, London.
The BmE Hub is a major new building comprising state-of-the-art laboratories for translational research at the interface of engineering and biomedical sciences, in addition to a clinical factility within the building.
This visionary development will provide co-location space for engineers, scientists and clinical researchers in the musculoskeletal field from across College to come together to forge new interdisciplinary collaborations.
Faciltiies will include an imaging suite and a clean room.

Biodynamics Lab Database
This database is collected by the Biodynamics lab of Imperial College London. It consists of 180 subjects. Ground reactions forces (GRFs) are captured for all 3 axes: medio-lateral (GRF X), anterior-posterior (GRF Y), and vertical (GRF Z). 101 samples are captures per axis.
