Three open positions in human robotics at Imperial College London
At the human robotics group at Imperial College London (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/human-robotics) we use an integrative approach of neuroscience and robotics to investigate human sensorimotor control, and to design efficient human interface science and technology.
Our current research themes are:
- human movement augmentation (see Mehring et al. Nature Communications 2019, Eden et al. Nature Communications 2022)
- haptic communication between humans and with robots (Takagi et al. 2017 Nature Human Behaviour, 2019 eLife; Ivanova et al. 2020 IEEE OJEMB)
- game theory-based interaction control (Li et al. Nature Machine Intelligence 2019)

We have 3 open positions (2 postdocs and 1 PhD). For 1 PhD and 1 postdoc the work would involve computation modelling within one of these themes. The other postdoc position is to develop research and applications in human movement augmentation or multilimb rehabilitation using the unique MUVE system, see https://www.imperial.ac.uk/human-robotics/dr-octopus-/.
