October 2021 Projects
The second call for the PhD Joint Programme between CNRS and Imperial College London, open to all disciplines, selected six joint research projects to start in October 2021:
- 'Infrared frequency metrology' - Anne Amy Klein (CNRS UMR7538) and Michael Tarbutt (Imperial)
- 'Geometry, dualities and the string landscape' - Mariana Grana (CNRS UMR3681) and Daniel Waldram (Imperial)
- 'Towards a Quantitative Mean Field Game Framework for Pedestrian Dynamics' - Denis Ullmo (CNRS UMR8626) and Dante Kalise (Imperial)
- 'Bayesian nonparametrics for high-dimensional statistical inference' - Ismaël Castillo (CNRS UMR8001) and Kolyan Ray (Imperial)
- 'Rigidity and Thurston theory in complex dynamics' - Dierk Schleicher (CNRS UMR7373) and Sebastian van Strien (Imperial)
