Project calls
The ICB CDT in Chemical Biology: Innovations in Life Sciences co- and fully funds 4-year research projects each year. These are usually in the format of a 1 year MRes in Chemical Biology & Bionentrepreneurship, followed by a 3 year PhD for the student. Each year there will be a cohort of students starting their CDT journey together at the start of the academic year.
Annual call scheme
The Institute of Chemical Biology (ICB) has been awarded an Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Chemical Biology: Innovation in Life Sciences starting in October 2019.
Details of the “annual scheme” scheme, remit of the CDT, project requirements and an overview of the assessment criteria can be found in the Guidelines. The remit of the CDT has changed considerably, with respect to both training and research and we therefore strongly encourage all applicants to carefully read these first.
Please complete your application by entering your text only into the tables in the word document and restrict your application to the four-page limit. Do not use a font less than 10 pt Arial.
