Optimising Antimicrobial Use To Address The Global Challenge of Antimicrobial Resistance
Who we are and What we do

Who We Are
The Centre brings together academic excellence, clinical expertise, partnerships with the NHS, the Data Science Institute (DSI), Centre for Molecular Bacteriology and Infection (CMBI), Imperial’s Clinical Research Facility (ICRF) and global collaborators to support research and collaborations aimed at improving antimicrobial use and infection management.
The Centre will provide state of the art laboratories and data science suites to support innovative research and the development of emerging technologies.

What We Do
Inappropriate antimicrobial use drives antimicrobial resistance and limits the effectiveness of clinical treatments.
To address this challenge, CAMO aims to develop new technologies with experts in the field to support tailored therapy for the individual, organism and infection
