Mr Ankit Kumar Malik is a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology. During his M. Pharm he worked on the development and evaluation of nanostructured drug delivery system for the management of prostate cancer. He worked with major instruments like HPLC, and particle size analyzer and has experience in laboratory animal handling. He has also published a paper on HPLC analytical method development of anti-cancer drugs and their degradation products. In this project, he will be contributing to the analytical method development and quantification of antimicrobials.

Mr Patharaj is a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), with a focus on pharmaceutical analysis.

He has experience in method development, validation and pharmacokinetics. He is also knowledgeable in method optimization and the quantification of various steroid based parameters. He has previously worked as an LCMS/MS Analyst at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. In this project, he will be contributing to analytical method development and quantification of antimicrobials.

Keerthana Shakthi is a Junior Research Fellow at Pondicherry University, proficient in microbiology and clinical research. She has previous experience as an intern at Biocon Limited, working on “Strain Improvement by classical mutagenesis of Streptomyces spp. for increasing antibiotic production”. She has also worked as Research Associate at ADIUVO Diagnostics Private Limited for 1.4 years with various projects such as “AST of Gram-Negative and Gram-Positive Bacteria under 2 mins using Illuminate® Device”, “Detection of Biofilm using Nitrocellulose membrane on Diabetic Foot ulcer patients”. “Detection of E. coli in UTI patients and their AST fluorescence pattern”.

Her work towards the project will include sample collection, isolation and screening of antimicrobial resistant organisms by microbiological techniques, characterization of antimicrobial resistant organisms by molecular methodology, metagenomic analysis of samples and isolation of DNA from faecal samples. She will also create awareness of antimicrobial resistance amongst the public.

Sayaree Pan is a Junior Research Fellow at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital. She is an expert in Molecular and Microbiological techniques and is proficient in handling DNA, RNA, Protein samples, PCR and cloning experiments. She also has knowledge of cell culture work and in vivo imaging. 

Her contributions to AMRWATCH include sample collection, isolation and screening of antimicrobial-resistant organisms by microbiological techniques, characterization of antimicrobial-resistant organisms by molecular methodology, metagenomic analysis of samples and isolation of DNA from faecal samples. She will also spread awareness about antimicrobial resistance among the public via means of social media.

Ms. Medapti Nikitha Lakshmi Suseela is a Junior Research Fellow at BHU. She holds a Masters in Pharmacy, with Pharmaceutical analysis as her specialization. She has experience in the development and validation of RP-HPLC methods for the estimation of antibiotics as well as characterization studies,  method development, and validation for API analysis.

In the AMRWATCH project, she will be contributing to analytical method development and quantification of antimicrobials.
